La Leche League is
an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to
providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who
choose to breastfeed.
Breastfeeding is
natural, but that doesn't mean women can do it by instinct alone. Like
childbirth, breastfeeding is easier with help. Problems of lactation can
usually be avoided with preparation and information. All breastfeeding
mothers and all mothers-to-be are welcome to come to our free meetings
(nursing children are welcome too!) or to call for further information. La
Leche League offers:

- Monthly meetings

accredited Leaders
- Lending library with
books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects
- Parenting Conference!

LLL of Crawford County
serves a large area from Mansfield to Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
All breastfeeding
mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come
to our meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or
information. Children of all ages are welcome.
Meeting
Information
Our monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm, in the Bucyrus Public Library, one block east of the square. During these meetings, we discuss every phase of breastfeeding and attachment parenting, from birth to weaning and beyond. A lending library is available. Books on birth, breastfeeding, nutrition, parenting and more are available to borrow. Please contact a Leader for more information.
Babies
are expected to attend, expectant moms and grandmothers welcome.

Information
La Leche League Leaders
are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have
been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help
mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone between meetings
for breastfeeding questions or concerns.
