La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who choose to breastfeed.

Membership in La Leche League International is $40 for one year. Membership fees help to support your local Group and the international organization. The benefits of membership include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine.

All women interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend meetings, or call for information or assistance. Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Meeting Information

Breastfeeding is natural, but most women welcome support and information to prevent difficulties and relieve concerns. Sometimes just meeting another nursing mother can make the difference between a frustration and a celebration. Come meet friends at LLL-Mid-Ohio Valley and create your own definition of breastfeeding success.

Morning Meetings: 2nd Friday of the month at 10 a.m at the Christ United Methodist Church, 3rd & Wooster, in Marietta.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone between meetings for breastfeeding questions or concerns.
