LLL of Ohio
La Leche League is
an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to
providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who
choose to breastfeed.
Breastfeeding is
natural, but that doesn't mean women can do it by instinct alone. Like
childbirth, breastfeeding is easier with help. Problems of lactation can
usually be avoided with preparation and information. All breastfeeding
mothers and all mothers-to-be are welcome to come to our free meetings
(nursing children are welcome too!) or to call for further information. La
Leche League offers:
- Mother-to-mother support
- Monthly meetings
- Telephone help from
accredited Leaders
- Lending library with
books on childbirth, breastfeeding, and related subjects

and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our
meetings or call one of our Leaders for breastfeeding help or information.
Babies are always welcome at our meetings.

Breastfeeding or Considering It?
Need some breastfeeding support?
La Leche League of Ross County
is the place for you.
Meetings are held at the
Ross County Service
Center, in Conference
Room C, on the second Thursday of every month at 6:30 P.M. The address is 575 Western Ave.
Enter through the middle doors.
We offer information,
discussion, support, and encouragement to breastfeeding mothers. We also
have a lending library and free information sheets. Nursing concerns will
be addressed by an accredited LLL Leader. Each new meeting attendee will
receive a New Mom Packet full of breastfeeding information to take home.
We usually have drinks
and snacks. Meetings last about 1 hour.
Remember: The only
limits for breastfeeding are the ones you put on it!

Information
La Leche League Leaders
are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have
been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help
mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by
phone between meetings for breastfeeding questions or concerns.
